Sarah
A former design engineer for Rolls Royce Aero-engines, Sarah Manning has translated her strong logical and analytical nature into enthusiastic, clear and precise instruction in Yoga. A qualified yoga teacher with a diploma from the International Yoga Teacher's Association (IYTA, Australia) since 1996, Sarah has also spent a year studying IYTA Back Care Professional Development Training with Pamela Brown (author of
Your Back Yoga and You). She also has a diploma in Anatomy (ITEC 2003) and has trained as a Yin Yoga teacher under Bernie Clarke (Canada) in 2005. Her inspiration to teach came from experiencing the flow of yoga from the Kripalu Yoga Ashram in the US and more recently, from working with John Friend and master teachers of Anusara Yoga.
Sarah has just returned to Singapore from China, where she has spent the last five years teaching pre and post-natal Yoga and Yin Yoga, and where she has also been certified as a Chinese Reflexologist and in beginner level Tuina (Chinese Meridian Massage). At COMO Shambhala, Sarah leads Beginner and General classes and Yin Yang Yoga - a variation of Yin Yoga.
