Intro to Yoga
This four-week course will introduce the fundamentals of the yoga practice to students. The programme will uncover how to grasp some of the basic poses, regardless of fitness, strength or flexibility. The aim of the course is to prepare those who are new to Yoga for Beginners classes. Highly recommended for the absolute beginner.
Intro to Pilates
This three-week course is a pre-requisite for absolute beginners to attend the Pilates (Beginner) or Pilates (Body-Sculpt) classes. The course will provide a basic understanding of the principles of the Pilates method; core conditioning, breathing, body alignment, and flow. Students will be introduced to Pilates terminology and classical mat exercises.
Intro to Back Care
This programme of 8 weeks is a highly beneficial course for anyone suffering from back or neck stiffness, misalignment or pain, with no previous experience of yoga required. With handouts for each class, reference reading and a personalised daily routine.
Intro to YogMed
In this 8-week course, experience the benefits of meditation as part of a holistic Yoga practice. With specific emphasis on the calm awareness that comes with meditation, it is especially suitable for those who are seeking a means to stabilize their temper and for health betterment purposes, like managing blood pressure levels.
Intro to Satyananda Yoga
In this 8-week course, experience the benefits of Satyananda Yoga - a practice focused on the importance of awareness of the complete being - to promote the alignment of body, mind, emotions and spirit. Grounded in tradition, but fully adapted to the needs of contemporary life, Satyananda Yoga is suitable for practitioners of all fitness levels, including those with no prior Yoga experience.
